The Big Curly Hair Tutorial

Shannon (from Thosegirlsarewild on YouTube) is hilarious! When I got to 4:45 in the video, I laughed out loud, because there are people who assume naturals don’t like their curls. You go, Shannon! I probably would’ve done the same thing. That lady would’ve regretted talking to me.

In this video, as Shannon detailed her curly hair regimen, she mentioned the following products:

The Mixed Chick trio (shampoo, deep conditioner, leave-in conditioner)

If you follow the curly girl method, you won’t want to use this shampoo or the conditioners, because the shampoo contains sulfates, and the conditioners, amodimethicone.  (Here is an interesting article about amodimethicone.) If you don’t care about sulfates and amodimethicones, then go for it. The products seem to work for Shannon.
